Back roads Vermont

The conjured image of Vermont is one that the postcards promote. Today, the sugarbush is laced with tap lines running down the hillsides to the collection tanks at the sugarhouse. If one travels some of the lesser traveled roads, you might find sap buckets hung on spiles. These usually would be just for a family making some ‘sirup’ for themselves.

About Vermont Woodchuck

Professional Photojournalist since 1969 with a BFA from SUNY Purchase 1979-Visual Arts. I despise advocacy news journalism. Every photojournalist should be prepared to show their camera RAW images of news events. Reason: RAW images cannot be altered no matter what is done to the finished product.
