Quinlan Bridge

Vermont has quite a few covered bridges scattered around the state. The Quinlan Bridge, built around 1850, is easily to reach. It crosses Lewis Creek at Monkton Rd, just off Spear St. in Charlotte, VT. Since this photo was made they have repaired the bridge. The repair and painting has taken all the character out of the bridge.Quinlan BridgeQuinlan Bridge, Monkton Rd. Charlotte, VT 06/11/2005

About Vermont Woodchuck

Professional Photojournalist since 1969 with a BFA from SUNY Purchase 1979-Visual Arts. I despise advocacy news journalism. Every photojournalist should be prepared to show their camera RAW images of news events. Reason: RAW images cannot be altered no matter what is done to the finished product.
