Smoke and noise woke me about 2230 hours. I could see the flashing lights so I grabbed the camera and went outside. The restaurant up the road since shuttered was ablaze. No other news photographer in sight. I had this story to myself. Ferrisburgh is a small town, a wide spot in Rte. 7 on the way to Burlington. Most of the 60 people that live around the ‘center’ of the town were out watching this landmark , Burdick’s Restaurant go up in a cloud of pollution.
