Fog on the Pacolet River

Autumn in South Carolina has some humidity and cool mornings. The combination of the two plus some solar warming produces a low fog on the rivers and in the sloughs. As the morning progresses the fog lifts becoming a low cloud over the lowlands until 08:30 or so depending on wind and temperature.Sunrise Pacolet River (02)Parris Bridge Road, Fingerville, South Carolina 11/28/2010

About Vermont Woodchuck

Professional Photojournalist since 1969 with a BFA from SUNY Purchase 1979-Visual Arts. I despise advocacy news journalism. Every photojournalist should be prepared to show their camera RAW images of news events. Reason: RAW images cannot be altered no matter what is done to the finished product.
