Carolina cattle and a steeple

Driving around Upstate South Carolina, one finds much evidence of the burgeoning economy by the clearing off of land for housing. Spartanburg and Greenville Counties are growing.
Then one turns down another road and you wonder if a warp opened, the world shifted. Farms are present cattle graze and there isn’t any sign of tract housing. But there is that ubiquitous steeple. I haven’t figured out if there are thousands of them in the South, or someone runs around sticking the same one in all my images.Carolina cattle 03Edwards Road, Inman, South Carolina 02/19/2016

About Vermont Woodchuck

Professional Photojournalist since 1969 with a BFA from SUNY Purchase 1979-Visual Arts. I despise advocacy news journalism. Every photojournalist should be prepared to show their camera RAW images of news events. Reason: RAW images cannot be altered no matter what is done to the finished product.
