Who you lookin’ at?

Cattle are quite curious. As I mentioned elsewhere, any animal that spends most of the day with their face stuck in the ground don’t rank high on the IQ scale.
Take old Clarence here. If you walk up to him, when you get within five feet he’ll bolt. The area around the front and to the front sides are his ‘guard zone’. However you can walk up behind him and rub his back; he’ll stand there. Lucky for him he’s a herd animal, somebody else is watching his back.Carolina cattle 04 A curious critter, Edwards Rd., Inman, South Carolina 02/19/2016

About Vermont Woodchuck

Professional Photojournalist since 1969 with a BFA from SUNY Purchase 1979-Visual Arts. I despise advocacy news journalism. Every photojournalist should be prepared to show their camera RAW images of news events. Reason: RAW images cannot be altered no matter what is done to the finished product.
